Born In 1987.....My 35th Birthday Reflections

Happy #WomensHistoryMonth2022 & Happy 35th Birthday To Me!

Here’s to a milestone birthday! At 35, what I know for sure is that God reigns supreme. God will never leave you nor forsake you, even when things do not seem to make any type of sense. Reflecting on where I am today, I am a long ways away from that Tuesday, March 3, 1987.

I have many of the “things,” that I’ve prayed to have by 35. I continue to be blessed as God surpasses my wildest dreams and expectations.

I know that worldly “things” mean nothing and surely won’t get me into to heaven nor give me everlasting life. God is absolutely the way, which I discuss in my newest feature for Westchester Magazine, as well as becoming a young homeowner in my 20s.

I have lived in New York my entire adult life as I left Los Angeles, California at the tender age of 17. Moreover, I have been on my own since my early teenage years. I have grown up quickly because I had no other choice and through it all, God has kept me and continues to keep me. I am so very grateful.

Please check out the feature, which highlights my faith, family and love for my alma master, Iona College. I am always humbled to discuss my family and to provide insight into how we’ve been able to make an impact in our very own Westchester County, New York community, is a blessing!

Here’s a quick highlight of my adult years:
