Gabrielle Gambrell on Brown Ambition Podcast: A Story of Purpose, Power & Balance
I recently joined the award-winning Brown Ambition podcast and shared an intimate look into my personal and professional journey. I encourage you to check it out for a nice blend of inspiration, insight, and authenticity.
In this personal episode, I share how my hometown of Los Angeles impacts who I am today. I will go into detail about my grandparents who have had the largest impact on my life from their historic and profound accomplishments being born in 1912 and 1917 earning multiple degrees from the world’s leading educational institutions, as well as earning millions of dollars via well-known business ventures. Along the way, like my grandparents, I found a passion in education, beginning her teaching career in her twenties and continuing to empower students to this day.
I also share how, through discipline and vision, I became a homeowner at a young age, as a proof of her belief in maximizing every day and seizing opportunity with purpose. Growing up in Los Angeles, I was surrounded by a plethora of examples of prosperity. All of which is why I am committed to achieve, lead, and moreover create impact.
Mental health and personal growth are also front and center as I reflect on the value of travel, whether for work or conferences, and how those experiences allow a reset and recharge. And through it all, family remains my foundation. No matter how full my professional life becomes, my family plans are always priority, firmly held at the top of my calendar.
This episode is a beautiful reminder that ambition and balance can coexist, and that success is not just about what you do, but how you live.
